I seem to have been abducted to an alternate future Earth by the American government.
They gave me an orientation brochure. I have to say I don't quite believe their story about the Porter machine; it's all rather convenient.
I have been informed that this is an alternate Earth--I'm sure many physicists would be happy to know that their theories are correct. Evidently, the USSR never fell here.
Also informed that there's basically no diplomatic or legal recourse. That's absurd. I could understand if I was taken from an entirely different world, but why would countries be so accepting of this being done to their citizens, even if they ARE from other universes?
It's 2015... Hikaru and Umi must be 35 years old, if they exist in this universe. Of course, if they do, they may be completely different people... I might be a completely different person... goodness.
Neither Hikaru nor Umi (my own) are here. I don't know how the Porter could have missed them. Frankly I would rather have them here; I know they wouldn't want me to be here alone.
My magic spells are now "superpowers," like an American comic book. I also have my sword.
